The Peanut Problem

A chimpanzee is in a locked cage. A clear strong plexiglass tube is fastened to the door of the cage. The chimpanzee is not strong enough to remove the tube from the door of the cage. At the bottom of the tube is a peanut. Chimpanzees like to eat peanuts. However, the chimpanzee sticks its finger down the tube but cannot reach the peanut. How can the chimpanzee get the peanut out of the tube?
